Questions
If a clock time or a dollar amount is not here, it is because it was not on the listing. We would rather leave a gap than invent one.
How do I book?
Choose dates and send a request. A person checks the calendar and replies within 24 hours. If the dates are open, we send a rental agreement to sign, then a payment link. The stay is confirmed only after the agreement is signed and payment is received. The request itself is not a booking.
Are the stays weekly?
Yes. These houses are rented by the week, for part of the year. If your dates are not a full week, say so in the request and we will tell you what is possible.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Both houses use a keypad. The code is sent before you arrive. The clock times are confirmed in your booking note. They were not published on the listing, so they are not invented here.
Where do I park?
Both houses have free parking on the property. Fern also has free street parking. The street address is sent after you book, not on this site.
When is the pool open?
At The Delford the heated in-ground pool is open from April 25 to October 25. Fern has a private pool. Its listing does not publish season dates, so ask when you request.
Are linens and towels included?
Bed linens are at both houses. The Delford also provides beach towels. Both houses list beach essentials. Extra pillows and blankets are in each house.
Is there gear for a baby?
The Delford has a crib, a pack-and-play, a high chair, children's dinnerware, and baby safety gates. Fern has a pack-and-play that stays at the house, a high chair, and fireplace guards. Say what you need in the request.
Can I bring a pet?
No. Neither house takes pets.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation terms are a blank in the draft agreement until the owner and an attorney set them. Requesting dates does not charge you, and nothing is final until the agreement you sign says so.
How do I pay?
After you sign, we send a Stripe Payment Link for that stay. A Payment Link cannot place a card hold, so there is no deposit hold. Zelle is only for a known repeat guest, and only when the owner approves that stay.
What about damage?
No security deposit is held on a card through this site. Damage terms are in the draft agreement, marked for the attorney. Per-booking damage protection for direct stays is being put in place before the first direct stay.
Is there heat and air conditioning?
Both houses have central air. Fern has central heating and a wood-burning fireplace. The Delford has an indoor fireplace. Whole-home heating is not listed for The Delford. If you are coming in a cool month, ask before you request.
Are there cameras?
Yes. Both properties have exterior security cameras. They are noted on each house page and in the agreement.
What are the quiet hours?
The Delford is quiet from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Fern is quiet from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The Delford does not allow parties or events.
Where are the license numbers?
Both houses are short-term rentals in Lower Township, New Jersey. The license numbers are printed in the footer once the owner adds them. They are not guessed here.
